You guys are funny ! The law is the law - and it is clear that this is not "our" beach.

The Cobourg Beach Society seeks to restore public access to this beach ( much of it created by falling water levels ) by all legal means. When that happy day comes, and it will, we will expect all to obey the law too.

  3. Check the law for yourself - your cause is futile and you will never be successful.

The council will soon discover that they cannot hold property owners to ransom over building permits and the like. Its going to get messy - but some people never learn! Shame the tax payer will end up footing the (legal) bill.

  5. Please note that the Council's action are fully within the law ( Provincial Planning Act ) Property claimants could do something very positive and leave a positive legacy: restore 200 years of access.
